Our Approach to Privacy
TickClip works for you, the shopper. That principle extends to your data: we collect only what we need to return useful verdicts and run the Service, we never sell your personal information, and we keep anonymous use genuinely anonymous.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, the TickClip AI assistant, and verdict pages.
What We Collect
We collect a limited set of information, grouped by how it reaches us:
Queries and links: the product links you paste and questions you ask TickClip AI, so we can analyze them and return a verdict.
Conversation history: your chat threads, stored to keep context. For signed-out users this lives in your browser; for accounts it is saved to your profile.
Account details: if you sign in, basic identifiers such as your email address.
Usage and device data: standard logs like pages viewed, approximate region, browser type, and which offers were clicked, used to keep the Service reliable and improve verdicts.
Anonymous Use and Local Storage
You can use TickClip AI without an account. We create an ownerless conversation thread and store its identifier in your browser’s local storage so you can return to the same chat. This identifier is not tied to your real-world identity.
If you later create an account, you can claim that anonymous thread to carry your history forward. Clearing your browser storage removes the local reference to an unclaimed conversation.
How We Use Your Data
Generate verdicts, price intelligence, and promo-code matches in response to your requests.
Maintain your conversation history and account.
Operate, secure, and improve the Service, including measuring the accuracy of our verdicts.
Detect abuse, invalid promo codes, and fraudulent activity.
AI Processing and Service Providers
Your questions are processed by our verdict engine and by trusted third-party AI and infrastructure providers acting on our behalf to understand intent and generate responses. These providers may process query content only to deliver the feature, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
To fetch product details, prices, and offers we use authorized catalog integrations, currently focused on Amazon. We do not let these providers use your personal information for their own marketing.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can delete your conversation history, and closing your account removes associated personal data, subject to limited records we must retain by law.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can:
Use anonymously without creating an account.
Delete conversations or clear local storage at any time.
Contact us to exercise data rights or close your account.
